Thanks for visiting the All-Reef website! We are old salties and have 20 years of reef experience.
Our store is located in Stillwater, Minnesota, and although we have brick and mortar retail, we have a great Buy Corals Now page on our website where
we sell our What You See Is What You Get corals, clams, fish, and inverts both locally and to distant customers. (We ship FedEx Priority Overnight to
anywhere in the continental U.S.) |
We started out as hobbyists and grew into passionate coral farmers and caretakers of the many stunningly beautiful
and always fascinating ornamental fish, corals, clams, and invertebrates that come to us from the world’s delicate reef ecosystems. We are dedicated to the
conservation of our world’s reefs through aquaculturing and well-managed, sustainable collection. In addition, we do not offer species that are known to fare
poorly in captivity. We culture a lot of our own corals and carry a large selection of cultured and maricultured corals and frags and also a good supply of
tank-raised fish. We’re always on the look out for superior quality suppliers to add to our culturing stock, and quality is paramount at our store.

Our philosophy for maintaining thriving reef systems is “less is better.” Although there are many methods of successfully
maintaining captive reef systems, all of which may have merit in their own right, we subscribe to a combination of the “Berlin” and “Jaubert” methods. We employ
Deep Sand Beds (DSB’s) (less the plenum used in the Jaubert method), high quality live rock, and effective protein skimming, along with regular water change and
maintenance rituals. This method has provided us with many years of successful growth and reproduction of many different species, as well as just downright
jaw-dropping reef tanks.

Whether you are new to the marine hobby or are seasoned marine aquarists with a decade or two under your belt,
we are here to assist you in whatever way we can. We understand the need to ask questions, and we enjoy discussing reef methodology and love hearing success
stories with new practices as well as old. We encourage our customers to learn as much as they can about husbandry and care requirements of individual species
BEFORE they make a purchase so they have the greatest possible chance at success with their reef inhabitants. DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK! Educating yourself is
your first step in successful reefkeeping, and we’d like to be a part of that process!
